Vision

'Rooted and grounded in love' Ephesians 3:17

nurture, grow, flourish

Our Christian faith emphasises the value and worth of everyone with their own distinctive character, abilities and needs. The belief that we should all respect and help each other, provides the foundation of our school and everything we aim to achieve. Our vision is founded on Ephesians 3:17, seeking to support all within our school community, to take root and grow from the foundations of love in order to reach the fullness of their potential and living lives displaying the values of friendship, thankfulness, honesty, forgiveness, compassion and trust.

Our Aims

As a Church of England Infant School at the heart of our community, we are committed to offering children a safe and secure learning environment where our children can develop morally, spiritually and academically. Our Christian values of friendship, thankfulness, honesty, forgiveness, compassion and trust are at the centre of all that we do. We achieve this by :

  • Creating an enjoyment of learning
  • Encouraging  children to become self confident and independent
  • Offering a deep and rich curriculum that provides broad, stimulating and challenging opportunities
  • Providing opportunities for all children to reach their full potential
  • Celebrating each child’s achievement
  • Involving families in the life of the school and the education of their children
  • Helping our children appreciate the value of equality between all individuals, emphasising the worth of everyone with their own distinct character, ability and needs
  • Promoting the Christian faith, whilst sustaining a respect for other faiths and beliefs
